Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: September 2026
Our current status
As of the date above, Better Weight Guide does not use affiliate links and does not earn commissions from any company mentioned in our content. If that changes, we intend to update this disclosure and identify affiliate links where they appear.
Our commitment going forward
Better Weight Guide may in the future participate in affiliate programs, which means we could earn a commission if you purchase a service or product through a link on this site. If and when that happens:
- Clear labeling. Articles containing affiliate links will be labeled at or near the top of the page — not buried in the footer.
- No influence on substance. Commissions will never determine the medical or factual content of our educational guides. We will not inflate claims to sell anything.
- No paid rankings disguised as editorial. If we ever publish comparisons, commercial relationships will be disclosed alongside them, and free options will be treated fairly.
- Still not medical advice. An affiliate relationship does not change what we are: an informational publisher that does not provide medical care or dispense medication.
Why we disclose this
Trust is the foundation of an informational publisher's value. You deserve to know when a link could financially benefit us, so you can weigh our content accordingly. This commitment also reflects the standards of the U.S. Federal Trade Commission regarding endorsements and affiliate marketing.
